Our Story
Mariner is an independently owned small business located in central Maryland that specializes in ecological restoration and riverine, estuarine, and marine scientific surveys. Owner Dave Knorr is a veteran restoration ecologist and ecological construction expert with over 32 years of experience conducting shoreline, stream and wetland restoration in the mid-Atlantic region. He is also a licensed USCG captain with over 41 years of experience on Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries. Dave and his team have a proven track record working with owners, regulators, and constructors to solve problems and deliver projects on time and on budget.
